TRANSFUSION MEDICINE ASSOCIATION OF SERBIA

The Association has the following objectives:

• transfusiology development,
• coordinated training and professional development, monitoring of innovation in technique and technology related to different domains of transfusion medicine,
• promotion of scientific research,
• cooperation with international organizations and other national associations.

The first elected president of the Association was Danijela Miković, PhMD, from 2010-2014 the president was Zoran Stanojković, PhMD, and from 2014 the president is Snežana Jovanović Srzentić, PhMD.

The bodies of the Association are:

• Association Assembly,
• Steering Committee,
• Supervisory Board,
• Association secretary.

Assembly is the supreme organ of the Association, composed of all members of the Association and meets annually. All bodies are responsible to the Assembly.

The Steering Committee is the executive organ of the Assembly, responsible for achieving the objectives of the Association, the Constitution and respect for legality of the Association. It has fifteen members, chaired by its Chairman.

The Supervisory Board is the supervisory authority of the Assembly and controls the material-financial operations of the Association. Report to the Assembly at least once a year.
