It is our great pleasure to announce the 8th Congress of Transfusiologists of Serbia, accredited as an international meeting and Third International Congress organized by the Association for Transfusion Medicine of Serbia (UTS).

The Congress will be held from October 29-31, 2026, at the renovated Sava Center in Belgrade.

We kindly invite you once again to actively participate in and contribute with your papers to the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of transfusion medicine and related disciplines.

Abstracts

Deadline for abstract submission: June 1, 2026

Instructions for Abstract Submission

• Abstracts must be written in Serbian and English
• The abstract must not exceed 250 words
• Title: short, precise, written in capital letters
• Authors and affiliation: name and surname of the author and co-authors, name of the institution
• The abstract should include introduction, objective, material and methods, results, conclusion, keywords
• The abstract should be written using Times New Roman font, size 12
• Abstracts should be sent to the following email address: [email protected]

Papers accepted by the Scientific Committee of the Congress will be published in the Bulletin of Transfusion Medicine.

Speakers of introductory and plenary lectures will receive special instructions via email with guidelines for preparing their papers, which should also be submitted by June 1, 2026.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation for Congress participants is not included in the registration fee. Reservation and payment for accommodation are arranged directly with the hotel.

The organizer has secured special accommodation rates at the Crowne Plaza Belgrade, which is directly connected to the Sava Center via a pedestrian passage.
